Maximum wave height is an important factor when building offshore wind farms and floating PV. The data below is the maximum wave height in meters over a period of 40 years (1980-2019). More precisely, it is the largest hourly "maximum individual wave height" value from the ERA5 dataset over that time period. See here for more information.

Maximum wind speed is another useful consideration when building floating PV. The data below is the maximum hourly wind speed (m/s) over a period of 40 years (1980-2019) at a height of 54m.
